Shifting gears - I need to do some personal updating:
I’ll start with my health. I had my surgery this past Monday morning and it went very well. My surgeon removed the cyst and organs without any leaks, nicks, or tears. Which will be very helpful if the pathology comes back not so good! By Tuesday afternoon I was on my way home to recuperate - our insurance will only pay for 23 hours of hospital stay. We also received 7 and 1/2 inches of snow that night - as well as hitting all time record temperature lows. COLD, COLD, COLD! It did take me a couple of days to bounce back from the anesthetic - but I am feeling a lot better today. A big thanks to all my blogging friends who sent prayers and well wishes my way … I appreciate it so much!

Here’s my freebie finds for the week:
- Do you like magazines? Do you like free magazines even more? Well do I have a website for you - it’s called Adperk.com It’s an easy process to earn a free magazine subscription. It really works too - I just received my first copy of a year’s subscription to Redbook magazine. Seriously … check it out!
- If you’ve got a pet dog or cat … you can request a coupon for a free bag of food from Iams
- Earn free frequent flyer miles without spending any money … it can be done at e-miles.com
- The 14th annual FTD Good Neighbor Day Holiday will take place on September 3rd, 2008. Participating florists will be distributing free flower bouquets to promote good will. Check out there site and see if there’s one near you!

Don’t you just love something that’s free? I sure do! If it isn’t something my family can use … I save it and donate it to my church’s food pantry or local shelter. I also tend to recycle the bubble wrap lined manila envelopes the samples come in. (They work perfect for a lot of the items I sell on Ebay).
