  • ING Direct … offers a free checking account that pays interest ~ All with no minimum balance.
  • You can get free photo editing software from Google ~ It’s called Picasa.
  • Talking to a friend is free with Skype.
  • Budgeting just got a lot easier with a free account at Wesabe.

I found all these wonderful items in a post by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine at MSN’s moneycentral. 

It actually listed a total of ‘26 fabulous freebies’ that you might want to check out further. 

I’m seriously going to check out Wesabe … I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about them!

Free Frugality Book Giveaway …

Yesterday I decided to do my first giveaway/contest over at my other blog.  I got so excited about it, that it just didn’t seem fair … to not do one on my new blog here!

So have you heard of America’s Cheapest Family?  Believe it or not their real last name is Economides!  Isn’t that interesting?

And best of all they’ve wrote a wonderful book called America’s Cheapest Family Gets You Right on the Money (by Steve and Annette Economides).  These two have got it going on in the world of frugality!  Trent from the well known blog The Simple Dollar, wrote an in depth review of the book .  Make sure and check that out!

Freebie Friday #2
